History of the School

The School was founded by Mrs.Olga Frohlich in June 1971. It had a Nursery section and classes I to VII with trained and experienced teachers under the capable guidance of Mrs.Olga Frohlich, the school soon earned for itself an excellent reputation. In 1974, Mrs.Olga Frohlich decided to take steps for upgrading recognizing and affiliating the School to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. In 1979 the school opened its plus two section and became a full-fledged Senior Secondary School. The School is managed by Sherwood Educational society, consisting of President - Mrs.Palanisamy, Correspondent - Mrs.Shreevidhya Murali, M.A.

The school aims to impart all round education and gives emphasis on moral, academic, physical, social and cultural background to make its students intelligent, respectable and worthy citizens. The mission of the school is to produce students with an all – round development who can think and act independently.

The motto of the school is "Soar Beyond the Horizon"

Curriculum

The school follows the curriculum and syllabus of Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi and prepares the pupils for All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.
